Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Surge Protection Devices, Installation, and Maintenance Division. This key leadership role will drive operational efficiency, ensure the achievement of budget and profit targets, and oversee a range of activities from surveying to installation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong operational management experience, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the management, planning, logistics, and execution of all surveying, maintenance, and installation projects. Oversee invoicing, financial processes, and collaborate with the finance team to generate clear and actionable monthly P&L reports.
• Lead a dynamic team of field engineers, office planners, and an administration assistant. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment while ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
• Work closely with the Sales Director to ensure adequate resources are available to meet both current and projected order demands.
• Develop, forecast, and report on monthly sales, costs, and team performance. Proactively manage operating costs and office overheads to ensure the department's profitability.
• Ensure all site activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and legal regulations. Regularly liaise with the Health & Safety Officer to uphold the highest safety standards. Ensure timely delivery of relevant documentation post-project completion.
• Exhibit strong leadership qualities and teamwork skills, managing operations independently and effectively while maintaining open communication with senior management, including the Surge Director.
• Ensure all activities align with company quality assurance processes and procedures. Identify risks and implement corrective actions to maintain smooth business operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Your ability to foster trust and open communication will be essential in securing repeat business and long-term client satisfaction.

• Full-Time Position: Available immediately.
• Hours: Contracted 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Monday to Thursday – 08:30 to 16:30

Friday – 07:30 to 15:30
